Former Viva Hot Babes member and actress Andrea del Rosario recently revealed a surprising story about her past encounter with Hollywood action superstar Vin Diesel.
During an appearance on GTV’s Lutong Bahay, hosted by Mikee Quintos, Andrea shared details about her brief interaction with the Fast & Furious star, sparking curiosity and amusement among viewers.

The “Kitchen-terrogate” reveal
In the show’s “Kitchen-terrogate” segment, Mikee challenged Andrea to name a showbiz personality who had flirted with her but whom she had turned down.
The consequence for refusing to answer was drinking a milk-wasabi concoction — a penalty Andrea clearly wanted to avoid.
Without hesitation, she dropped a bombshell: “Vin Diesel.”
The revelation left Mikee stunned. “Really? Are you serious?” Mikee asked, clearly taken aback.
Laughing, Andrea clarified, “I’m just kidding! I just didn’t want to drink that milk-wasabi. But yes, it did happen years ago.”
How Andrea met Vin Diesel
Andrea went on to recount how she met Vin Diesel during a 2005 vacation in the United States. While at a bar, one of Vin’s bodyguards approached her with an invitation to meet the Hollywood star.
Andrea initially brushed it off but later attended a house party hosted by Vin, where they spent time together.
“We went to his house a few times for parties. There were moments, stories, and bonding, but nothing serious. Eventually, I had to return to the Philippines, and that was that,” Andrea shared.
Communication after returning home
Andrea admitted that she and Vin continued to exchange emails after she returned to the Philippines. However, their communication eventually fizzled out.
“It was just one of those random things that happened. I never expected anything more. We had a connection, but it wasn’t something I pursued. Life moved on for both of us,” she said.
Despite their fleeting interactions, Andrea recalled that Vin remained friendly, even sending greetings after she left the U.S.
Moving on
Andrea has since found happiness with her American businessman boyfriend, Anthony Garcia. She is also a proud mother to her 13-year-old daughter, Beatrice. Similarly, Vin Diesel has settled down with his long-time partner, Paloma Jiménez, with whom he shares three children.
Andrea was nonchalant when asked if she would want to see Vin again. “If it happens, it happens. But I won’t go out of my way to make it happen. I’m not the type to chase after something like that,” she said.
Andrea’s former colleague, Michelle Bayle, who witnessed the encounter between Andrea and Vin, has corroborated her story, adding to the authenticity of the actress’s amusing tale.
A humble reflection
Looking back, Andrea emphasized that her interaction with Vin Diesel was a fun, fleeting moment rather than a life-changing event. “I never told him I was an actress. I didn’t try to grab his attention or push myself onto him. It was just a casual connection that didn’t go anywhere, and I’m perfectly fine with that,” she concluded with a laugh.
For fans, Andrea’s candidness and sense of humor turned this anecdote into a charming story about a chance encounter with a Hollywood star.
