TCL, the Philippines’ No. 1 Panel TV brand and a global powerhouse in TVs and air conditioners, expanded its commercial footprint at PHILCONSTRUCT 2025, the country’s largest construction trade event held across SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia, and the World Trade Center in Pasay City from November 6 to 9. The brand showcased a powerful range of commercial AC solutions built for energy efficiency, next-level comfort, and modern, future-ready spaces.
Now on its 80th year, PHILCONSTRUCT gathered the country’s top builders, architects, engineers, and industry innovators. As part of the trade show’s HVAC/R Philippines segment, TCL took center stage with a full display of its most advanced cooling technologies designed for today’s climate-conscious markets.
“With TCL AC now expanding into the commercial segment, PHILCONSTRUCT was the ideal venue to introduce our lineup, strengthen our market presence, and connect with consultants, contractors, and developers,” said Bert Cheung, Deputy Director of Air Solutions and B2B Business, TCL Philippines.

A bigger, bolder lineup for commercial cooling
Long known for its leadership in residential air conditioners, TCL is now accelerating its entry into the commercial space with a complete portfolio of Light Commercial ACs and VRF systems. Visitors explored everything from home units to large-scale VRF solutions, all designed to deliver powerful cooling with exceptional energy savings.
Among the highlights was the T-AI Full DC Inverter—TCL’s AI-driven technology that boosts cooling performance while reducing power consumption. The exhibit also showcased the brand’s TMV6 Intelligent VRF System, engineered for complex commercial projects and massive spaces.
“TCL is widening its reach in the commercial sector through the TMV6 VRF and our Full DC Inverter Central Air Conditioning System,” said Vincent Tobias, Assistant Product Manager for Air Conditioners. “We also featured the Free Match Multi-Split System for flexible project requirements and the FreshIN P7 residential series, which elevates indoor air quality by pulling fresh air from outside.”

Cooling power built for large-scale projects
The TCL TMV6 VRF System is optimized for demanding installations, featuring a maximum capacity of 144 HP and an impressive 1,100-meter refrigerant piping length—ideal for multi-building developments or large structures. Its extensive indoor unit options make it adaptable to almost any room size or layout.
This system not only lowers installation costs but also significantly reduces long-term energy consumption. With an Integrated Part Load Value (IPLV) of 10, the TMV6 ensures efficient performance, stable operation, and lower electricity bills—an advantage especially needed in the Philippines’ high-cost power environment.
AI-powered cooling, smart controls, and energy savings
TCL also introduced new inverter technologies and smart features during the exhibit. The T-AI Inverter uses artificial intelligence to maximize energy efficiency, delivering up to 80% savings compared to non-inverter units. This innovation is reflected in TCL’s consistently high EER ratings—among the best in the country.
“TCL is also the first in the market to offer offline voice commands, giving customers more intuitive ways to control their AC units,” Tobias added.
Designed for Filipino homes and businesses
Every TCL AC unit is developed with Filipino consumers in mind—particularly those looking for powerful but cost-efficient cooling amid rising electricity prices. By sourcing the best components and fine-tuning performance, TCL ensures each model delivers maximum value at a highly competitive price point.
Beyond products, TCL provides full project support to industry partners—from early concept and design with architects, to installation with contractors, all the way to system commissioning and turnover. This end-to-end approach ensures seamless project delivery and long-term reliability.
“Fully committed to the Philippine market, TCL continues to refine its lineup to meet local needs—from homes to major developments, including green building projects that demand superior efficiency and integrated fresh-air systems,” Tobias said.
