‘Takbo Para sa Turismo 2025’ and support Philippine tourism

Step outside, get moving, and make a difference! The National Association of Independent Travel Agencies (NAITAS), in collaboration with the Department of Tourism (DOT), proudly presents Takbo Para sa Turismo—a unique fun run that celebrates the natural beauty of the Philippines while championing the vital role tourism plays in the nation’s economy.

Set against the backdrop of Manila’s iconic Quirino Grandstand, this exciting event takes place on April 26, 2025, and offers more than just a race—it’s a meaningful movement. Runners from all walks of life are invited to take part and become ambassadors for local tourism.

Participants can choose from 3K, 5K, or 10K categories—each route designed to test your endurance while giving you a fresh perspective on Manila’s most beloved landmarks.

Takbo Para sa Turismo is a vibrant celebration of how tourism uplifts lives and communities,” says NAITAS National President Ms. Florence Rivera. “It’s more than a run—it’s an opportunity for Filipinos to invest in their wellness while helping sustain our country’s tourism industry.

A portion of the proceeds will directly benefit local communities through tourism-related projects, helping preserve cultural heritage and boost economic opportunities across the country.
