Business owners in Taguig City continued to process their permit renewals on the 16th day of the Business One-Stop Shop (BOSS) 2026, as city offices remained open on Sunday, January 18, to accommodate taxpayers.

The annual BOSS program, led by the city’s Business Permits and Licensing Office and City Treasurer’s Office, streamlines business permit renewal through a simplified three-step procedure. Applicants are required to submit a completed application form with the necessary supporting documents, settle the assessed taxes and fees upon issuance of a Notice of Assessment by the City Treasurer’s Office, and claim their 2026 business permit once payment is completed.

Business permit renewals and payment of business taxes for 2026 are being accepted from January 3 to January 20. Processing centers operate daily from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., including weekends, to ensure wider access for entrepreneurs and merchants.

Among those who availed of the service was 68-year-old Belltics Casin, owner of Belltics Merchandise in Barangay Fort Bonifacio. Casin said it was his first time renewing his permit at Taguig City Hall and described the experience as efficient and well-organized.

He noted that the smooth process reinforced his confidence as a taxpayer, adding that the city’s programs and services reflect how public funds are being put to use. Casin also expressed appreciation for the local government’s leadership, saying the improvements in service delivery have made transactions faster and more convenient for business owners.

To further accommodate applicants, the city has opened two BOSS venues. These include the SM Aura Satellite Office on the ninth floor of the Taguig City Hall Satellite Office at SM Aura Tower along McKinley Parkway in Bonifacio Global City, and the Convention Center at the New City Hall Building along Cayetano Boulevard in Barangay Ususan.

Business owners may also opt to renew their permits online by registering through the city’s portal at https://tlcportal.taguig.gov.ph.

Multiple payment options are available under BOSS 2026, including cash, credit and debit cards, GCash, Maya, and manager’s or cashier’s checks payable to the City Treasurer of Taguig.

For further inquiries, applicants may contact the Business Permits and Licensing Office at 7795-9999 local 104 for the SM Aura Satellite Office or 7795-8874 for City Hall transactions, or via email at bplo@taguig.gov.ph. The City Treasurer’s Office may be reached at 0961-704-4050 or 0961-698-8977, or through cto@taguig.gov.ph.
