For more than five decades, the Metro Manila Film Festival has served as a living archive of the Filipino imagination, capturing the stories, struggles, and triumphs that define the nation’s cultural soul. At its 51st edition, the festival welcomed a brand undergoing its own evolution, as PlayTime Entertainment deepened its presence in the country’s creative and cultural space.

From the start, PlayTime Entertainment has positioned itself as a committed supporter of Filipino artistry, forging collaborations that celebrate local storytelling while reinforcing its role as an active ally of the film and entertainment community.

Its growing involvement signals a shift from simple brand presence to meaningful participation in initiatives that shape how Filipino stories are told and experienced.

MMFF entries paraded along the streets of Makati with creative themed floats to promote the festival’s films and encourage the public to head over to the cinemas to watch.

In partnership with the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority, PlayTime Entertainment became part of the festival’s most defining moments. The brand was visible during key film premieres, capturing celebrity arrivals, fan interactions, and the shared excitement between casts and audiences.

It also joined the Celebrity Golf Tournament, where familiar faces from the entertainment industry came together in a relaxed celebration of camaraderie. Beyond the venues, PlayTime took part in the much-anticipated Parade of Stars in Makati, rolling alongside creative floats and waving artists to drum up excitement and bring moviegoers back to local cinemas.

The festival reached its crescendo at the Gabi ng Parangal, where PlayTime Entertainment extended full support by livestreaming the blue carpet on its official Facebook page and recognizing excellence in cinema through monetary awards for Best Director and Best Picture.

For the brand, the festival was not just an event to sponsor, but a platform that embodies storytelling, creation, and transformation—values at the core of what PlayTime Entertainment is becoming.

“Our support for this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival is deeply personal and closely aligned with the direction PlayTime Entertainment is taking,” said Krizia Cortez, Director of Public Relations of PlayTime Entertainment.

“The festival has always been a platform for films that provoke thought, challenge perspectives, and inspire conversation. It invites creative minds to push boundaries, reshape cultural narratives, and elevate Filipino artistry. In many ways, that mirrors our mission and vision as a brand,” Cortez added.

Beyond the local celebration, PlayTime Entertainment’s commitment to Filipino cinema continues overseas. The brand is joining the MMDA in the festival’s international leg in Dubai this January, bringing Filipino films to global audiences and offering overseas Filipinos a cinematic connection to home.

“This partnership represents how we see our role moving forward,” Cortez added. “We’re building PlayTime Entertainment to be a catalyst—one that connects creators to audiences and helps Filipino artistry grow and resonate, not just locally, but internationally.”

As PlayTime Entertainment expands its footprint across entertainment spaces, its involvement in the 51st MMFF underscores a long-term commitment to the future of Filipino storytelling—one that honors tradition, embraces innovation, and invites new generations to see themselves on screen.
