SSS urges members to avail of new LoanLite microloan facility

MANILA – The Social Security System (SSS) is encouraging qualified members to avail of its new LoanLite microloan facility, which aims to provide easier access to small, short-term loans.

The program is designed to offer members an additional borrowing option for immediate financial needs while providing a formal alternative to high-interest lending channels.

Through LoanLite, eligible SSS members can apply for smaller loan amounts under simplified terms, complementing the pension fund’s existing salary loan program.

SSS said the facility is part of its efforts to expand financial assistance available to members and provide more accessible borrowing options.

Members interested in the program are advised to check their eligibility, available loan amount, repayment terms and other requirements through official SSS channels before applying.

The pension fund also reminded members to transact only through authorized SSS platforms and offices to avoid scams and fraudulent loan offers.
