A compact phone does not have to mean a smaller battery or fewer camera options. That is the pitch behind the new POCO X8s, which brings a 6,330mAh battery, a triple-camera system and a bright AMOLED display to a body designed for comfortable one-handed use.
Launched in the Philippines as the latest addition to POCO’s X Pro Series, the X8s combines everyday portability with features built for photography, entertainment and multitasking.
At 8.06mm thick and weighing 187 grams, the phone pairs a micro-curved aluminum frame with a glass back. Its camera module matches the body color for a unified finish. Buyers can choose from Blue, White and Black, with the latter featuring a distinctive black-and-silver design.
The 6.35-inch 1.5K AMOLED display is bordered by slim 1.18mm bezels, giving users more screen space within the compact frame. Its M10 panel delivers up to 3,500 nits of multi-scenario peak brightness to help keep content visible in bright outdoor conditions.
POCO’s first 1–120Hz Adaptive refresh rate Pro adjusts the screen’s refresh rate to suit the content, balancing smooth visuals with power efficiency. Triple TÜV Rheinland eye-care certifications complement the display, while an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor supports wet-touch unlocking and press-and-slide enrollment.
Photography gets equal attention. The main camera uses a 50-megapixel Light Fusion 800 sensor with optical image stabilization to help capture clearer, steadier images. A 50-megapixel telephoto camera offers 2.5x zoom for closer framing, while an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera accommodates broader scenes and group shots.
The phone also supports Live Moment at up to 1080p, allowing users to preserve movement alongside their photos.
Powering the X8s is the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 Mobile Platform, designed to handle app launches, multitasking and entertainment. POCO’s 3D IceLoop cooling system helps manage heat during demanding tasks and sustain performance over longer sessions.
Battery capacity is a central feature. Despite its compact dimensions, the phone houses a 6,330mAh typical-capacity battery with 16 percent silicon content. It supports 100W HyperCharge for fast charging and 22.5W reverse charging for topping up compatible devices on the go.
An IP68 dust and water resistance rating adds protection for everyday use, while dual speakers complete the entertainment package.
The POCO X8s will be offered in two configurations. The 8GB RAM and 256GB storage model carries a suggested retail price of ₱24,999, with a promotional price of ₱22,999. The 12GB RAM and 512GB storage version is priced at ₱27,999, reduced to ₱25,999 during the sale.
POCO is also offering the X8 in Black, Orange and White. Its 8GB+256GB variant has a suggested retail price of ₱23,999 and a sale price of ₱21,999, while the 12GB+512GB version is priced at ₱26,999, discounted to ₱24,999.
Promotional prices for both models will be available from November 6 to 15.
