Traveling is about to get much more convenient for Filipinos. SM Supermalls, one of the country’s largest mall operators, has officially partnered with VFS Global, the world leader in trusted technology services for governments and diplomatic missions, to bring essential visa and travel documentation services directly to select SM malls nationwide.
The collaboration aims to enhance accessibility and provide a seamless customer experience by establishing world-class visa and travel documentation centers inside SM shopping centers.
SM Supermalls President Steven Tan emphasized that the partnership elevates the mall operator’s role beyond traditional retail.
“Our malls have evolved into trusted community spaces where everyday needs are met with ease and dignity,” Tan stated. “This partnership with VFS Global brings essential travel and documentation services right where people already are—inside their neighborhood SM mall.”
The new VFS Global centers inside SM malls will offer a range of services, including visa applications, biometrics enrollment, appointment scheduling, and passport-related services.
This move strengthens SM’s commitment to transforming its locations into centralized hubs for government, travel, and public community services.
For VFS Global, which operates nearly 4,000 application centers globally and serves as a trusted partner to 70 client governments, the move is focused on customer convenience.
