Shopee Philippines is taking its commitment to Filipino entrepreneurs to the next level with the launch of the 2025 Tatak Pinoy MSME Training Roadshow — a nationwide initiative designed to empower local merchants, resellers, and aspiring online sellers to thrive in the digital economy.

Kicking off in Mandaluyong City, the roadshow will reach multiple cities across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, bringing hands-on training, expert-led sessions, and business tools directly to the doorsteps of MSMEs. The first 10 stops will wrap up by December 2025, with more locations already in the pipeline.

For Shopee sellers, this means exclusive access to business strategies, platform know-how, and growth tips you can apply right away to your online stores.

Built by Filipinos, for Filipinos
Now on its fifth year, Shopee’s Tatak Pinoy initiative has grown from a celebration of local sellers to a game-changing platform for MSME growth and global reach. Through Tatak Pinoy International, Shopee has already helped nearly 200,000 Filipino sellers bring 22 million proudly local products to customers across the globe.

“From day one, we’ve stood by Filipino MSMEs. We’ve seen firsthand how going digital can change lives—not just for business owners, but for their families and communities too,” said Jack Ng, Head of Commercial at Shopee Philippines. “With this roadshow, we’re meeting sellers where they are, providing the tools and training they need to grow their online businesses.”

Mandaluyong leads the way
The launch in Mandaluyong gathered nearly 200 local MSMEs — from first-time sellers to seasoned entrepreneurs. Mayor Menchie Abalos emphasized the city’s strong push for digital entrepreneurship.

“We’re proud to partner with Shopee to bring practical, easy-to-access training to our local sellers. Our entrepreneurs deserve every opportunity to succeed, and Tatak Pinoy helps make that happen,” she said.

Councilor Charisse Abalos added, “By bringing training to the communities themselves, Shopee ensures sellers can learn in a comfortable and familiar environment. This is how we build stronger, more confident online businesses.”

What’s in it for you?
Whether you’re already selling on Shopee or just starting out, the roadshow offers step-by-step support covering:

  • Setting up and optimizing your Shopee store
  • Product photography and compelling listings
  • Data-driven marketing and ads
  • Cross-border selling to reach international buyers
  • Logistics and financial management essentials

The sessions are tailored to suit sellers at every level — from sari-sari store owners to boutique brands looking to expand.

Stronger together: Partners powering MSME growth
Shopee isn’t doing this alone. Trusted partners like SPX Express and Monee are onboard to guide sellers on fast, reliable delivery and smart financial solutions, helping sellers build solid foundations for long-term success.

Even the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) has voiced support. “Shopee’s Tatak Pinoy campaign shows how private sector leadership can strengthen the government’s push for inclusive digital growth,” said Atty. Eryl Royce R. Nagtalon of the DTI E-Commerce Bureau.

Join the movement
As Shopee celebrates 10 years in the Philippines — with over 100,000 hours spent training MSMEs — the message is clear: this is just the beginning.

If you’re a Shopee merchant, reseller, or aspiring online seller, this roadshow is your chance to level up. Be part of a growing community of digital entrepreneurs shaping the future of Filipino commerce.

Watch out for the next stops in San Juan, Pasig, Calbayog, Catbalogan, Quezon City, Calamba, Naga, Meycauayan, Guiguinto — and beyond.

Because when Filipino MSMEs rise, the whole nation grows with them.
