BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya – Residents of two remote barangays in Kayapa, Nueva Vizcaya, will soon have easier access to government services as the provincial government prepares to conduct another Serbisyo Caravan this November.

The initiative will benefit residents of Barangays Tubongan and Pangawan, bringing essential government transactions, healthcare services, and other assistance directly to their communities.

Provincial Jail Warden Carmelo Andrada, acting chairperson of the Provincial Task Force–Serbisyo Caravan, said an inter-agency coordination meeting was held to finalize the services and programs to be offered during the activity.

The caravan will be conducted in partnership with the Municipal Government of Kayapa, national government agencies, provincial offices, and participating civil society organizations.

Among the services available to residents are national identification card registration and processing, National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) and police clearances, business name registration, vehicle registration, and driver’s license processing.

Free medical consultations, dental services, medicines, and haircuts will also be provided.

Andrada said the program aims to address the difficulties faced by residents of geographically isolated communities who must travel long distances to access government offices and essential services.

By bringing these services directly to the barangays, the provincial government hopes to reduce travel expenses and make government assistance more accessible to underserved communities.

Earlier this year, the Serbisyo Caravan served thousands of residents in remote communities across Villaverde, Diadi, Santa Fe, Ambaguio, and Aritao.

The initiative is part of the Department of the Interior and Local Government’s Retooled Community Support Program (RCSP), which seeks to strengthen government presence and improve access to basic services in communities.

Through continued coordination among local government units, national agencies, and partner organizations, the provincial government aims to expand the delivery of essential services to more remote areas of Nueva Vizcaya.
