Set against the vibrant backdrop of Kaohsiung, Taiwan, the “Tahanan” music video unfolds like a travel diary infused with heart. The members of SB19 are scattered across the city, each immersed in his own creative rhythm, yet constantly connected through their Acer devices.
From reflective moments and spontaneous ideas to quick check-in calls, the film mirrors how modern lives move fluidly between physical places and digital spaces.
In one scene, a spark of inspiration turns into a shared moment. Pablo sends a new song idea, prompting Stell, Justin, Josh, and Ken to gradually find their way toward each other. Their individual journeys converge at the Kaohsiung Music Center, a quiet reminder that home is not always a destination, but a bond carried from place to place.
The choice of Kaohsiung adds a cinematic layer to the story. With support from the Kaohsiung City Government, filming took place at cultural landmarks such as the Kaohsiung Music Center, the Dragon and Tiger Pagoda, and the Pier2 Art Center. These locations frame the narrative with a sense of movement, creativity, and discovery, making the music video feel as much like a travel feature as it is a brand film.
At the heart of the campaign is the idea of “tahanan,” a Filipino word rooted in comfort and peace. Sue Ong-Lim, Managing Director of Acer Philippines, shared that the song reflects how Filipinos view home as something they always return to, regardless of time or distance. In that sense, the campaign becomes a lifestyle statement about belonging in a fast-paced, screen-filled world.
Beyond the storytelling, Acer also ties the campaign to a holiday offer, giving consumers more reason to make their own digital home upgrade.
Shoppers can enjoy discounts and vouchers of up to P20,000 at SM Appliance Center when purchasing participating Acer consumer or gaming notebooks until January 18, 2026, with registration and redemption details outlined through Acer’s official channels.
