A lone bettor from Santa Rosa, Laguna hit the PHP86.3-million jackpot in the Lotto 6/42 draw on Saturday night, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced Sunday.
PCSO said the winning combination was 08-39-07-38-02-09. The winner has one year to claim the prize at the PCSO main office in Mandaluyong City and must present the winning ticket along with two valid IDs.
Under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) law, winnings above PHP10,000 are subject to a 20% tax.
Aside from the jackpot winner, 50 bettors won PHP24,000 each for guessing five numbers correctly, 1,965 players will receive PHP800 for matching four numbers, while 34,972 will get PHP20 each for hitting three digits.
The Lotto 6/42 is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
