Get ready to raise your mugs, and let’s have cheers because Sabrina Carpenter is brewing up, and it seems that Short ‘n Sweet has lived up to its name as she teases her upcoming follow-up album, Man’s Best Friend, on Thursday, June 12.
Sabrina unveils the cover artwork on her official page, along with its release date.
“My new album, Man’s Best Friend, is out on August 29, 2025. i can’t wait for it to be yours x,” the caption read.
Before the announcement, Manchild dropped as the lead single for the new album last week, on June 6. The song garnered over eight million streams on its first day, topping the Global Spotify chart.
It is currently on pace to debut at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 next week, marking her second number-one single since Please, Please, Please, should it maintain stability across listening platforms.
Man’s Best Friend will be her seventh studio album, featuring 12 tracks, including Manchild as the opening track, co-written and co-produced with former collaborator Jack Antonoff.

The album is now available to pre-order in CD, vinyl, cassette, limited-edition picture disc, and other merchandise on the artist’s store website.
