MANILA – Robinsons Land Corp. and Pag-IBIG Fund have partnered to offer homes at preferential prices and with buyer incentives under the government’s Expanded Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino (Expanded 4PH) Program.
In a news release Tuesday, Pag-IBIG Fund said Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Marilene Acosta and Robinsons Land President and CEO Mybelle Aragon-GoBio signed a memorandum of understanding for the partnership.
Under the agreement, qualified Pag-IBIG members may purchase participating Robinsons Land homes through Pag-IBIG Housing Loans, including ready-for-occupancy units, subject to specific terms and availability.
Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development Secretary and Pag-IBIG Fund Board Chairman Jose Ramon Aliling, who witnessed the signing, said the partnership expands housing options for Filipino families.
“President Marcos has directed us to do all that is necessary to bring homeownership within reach of more Filipino families under Expanded 4PH. We are seeing this direction bear fruit as more leading developers join our efforts, giving Filipino workers more homes to choose from and more opportunities to find one they can afford,” Aliling said.
“Together, government and our private-sector partners are turning our shared commitment into concrete opportunities for more Filipinos to own a home.”
Pag-IBIG Fund increased its maximum housing loan amount to PHP10 million in June to expand home financing options for middle-income earners. It also urged private developers to offer preferential pricing to members.
The Fund offers promotional housing loan rates of 4.5 percent per year for loans of up to PHP4.9 million, and 5.75 percent for loans above PHP4.9 million up to PHP10 million. The rates are fixed for the first three years, with the promotional offer available through the end of 2026.
Aragon-GoBio said the partnership combines Pag-IBIG’s financing options with the housing portfolio of RLC Residences, the residential development arm of Robinsons Land.
“By bringing together Pag-IBIG’s housing financing solutions and RLC Residences’ diverse portfolio of homes, we hope to make homeownership more accessible to more Filipino families and bring them closer to finding a place they can truly call their own,” Aragon-GoBio said.
“We recognize that our progress as a developer is measured by more than the buildings we complete or the communities we establish. It is ultimately measured by the lives we touch, the families we welcome, and the opportunities we help create. Through this partnership, we hope to make that impact even greater.”
The partnership will include home-matching activities, housing fairs, member briefings and online promotions. Pag-IBIG members will also receive housing loan counseling and assistance with documentary requirements.
Loan approval remains subject to Pag-IBIG Fund’s evaluation and applicable guidelines.
Acosta said the partnership aims to match members with homes and financing suited to their budgets.
“Through our partnership with Robinsons Land, we are bringing together its preferential pricing and buyer incentives with our affordable Pag-IBIG Housing Loans,” Acosta said.
“Lower monthly payments help families sustain their housing loan repayments while leaving more room in their budget for other necessities, savings and plans for the future. We want our members to find a home that suits their family and their budget, with affordable home financing they can rely on from Pag-IBIG Fund.” (PNA)
