Former Miss Universe Philippines Rabiya Mateo opened up about a recent accident she experienced while wakeboarding, sharing her injuries with fans on social media.
“Got hit by a wakeboard,” Mateo posted on Instagram Stories. “Chipped my tooth. Got some bruising and swelling on my left face.”
Despite the mishap, she remained positive, saying, “Still, life is good. Thank you, Lord!” and adding, “Part of being adventurous is experiencing accidents.”
Mateo, who is known for her thrill-seeking personality, recently went skydiving in the United States. “Free falling into life’s best moments,” she wrote in a post showing her in mid-air.
The beauty queen rose to fame after finishing in the Top 21 at the 69th Miss Universe pageant in 2021. Since then, she has been building a career in local showbiz and is gradually making a name for herself as an actress.
