The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) reported on Wednesday that authorities had confiscated illegal drugs worth over P2 million.
The operation, carried out by the QCPD Batasan Police Station 6, took place on Tuesday along Commonwealth Avenue in Barangay Batasan Hills, Quezon City.
According to the QCPD, an undercover officer successfully purchased P48,000 worth of drugs from 29-year-old Lemuel Lucero, who was arrested shortly after the exchange.
During the arrest, Lucero was found in possession of 300 grams of “shabu,” valued at P2.04 million, and 140 grams of premium marijuana, or “kush,” estimated to be worth P214,000.
Lucero now faces charges under the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
