CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga –The Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) on Friday reaffirmed its commitment to women empowerment as it successfully concludes the Women’s Month Celebration.
During the culminating program at the PRO3 Patrol Hall, Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga, PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo vowed to sustain and expand initiatives that uplift women in law enforcement, ensuring a workplace where equality, respect, and professional growth continue to thrive.
“Empowering women within the ranks strengthens the overall effectiveness of law enforcement,” Fajardo said, as she reaffirmed the Philippine National Police’s (PNP) commitment to promoting gender sensitivity and inclusivity in policing.
Throughout March, PRO3 spearheaded various activities aimed at recognizing and strengthening the role of women in leadership and nation-building, which include a Financial Literacy Seminar, Lectures on Women’s Empowerment, a Wellness Day, and Pampering Services, among others.
“These are initiatives designed to promote women’s well-being and enhance their capabilities in both professional and personal spheres,” Fajardo said.
A key moment in the event was the awarding of outstanding female personnel — both uniformed and non-uniformed — who have demonstrated exemplary dedication, leadership, and service.
Their contributions to the organization’s mission were acknowledged as crucial to the success of PRO3’s programs and initiatives.
Fajardo thanked all participants and organizers for the successful conclusion of PRO3’s Women’s Month Celebration.
Donate Philippines president Myrna Reyes, who was guest of honor and keynote speaker, lauded PRO3’s commitment to fostering an inclusive and empowering environment for women in law enforcement.
