The stage is set for one of the most anticipated esports tournaments in the country as Predator League officially kicks off its 2026 Philippine Qualifiers. With a massive P1.2 million prize pool and the coveted Predator Shield on the line, Filipino gamers are ready to battle it out in Dota 2, VALORANT, and for the first time ever, League of Legends.
The qualifiers, which began on September 19, mark the return of Predator League’s nationwide hunt for the next generation of esports champions. Both online and offline tournaments are underway, giving players from every corner of the Philippines the chance to prove themselves and make their mark on the competitive stage.
“We’re thrilled to launch the Predator League 2026 Philippine Qualifiers,” said Sue Ong-Lim, Managing Director of Acer Philippines. “Acer has always championed the growth of esports in the country, and through Predator League, we continue to provide a proving ground for aspiring gamers to shine.”
In Dota 2 and VALORANT, the champions will take home P200,000 each, while runners-up will earn P120,000. Teams finishing in third and fourth place will receive P50,000 apiece, and even those in fifth and sixth won’t go home empty-handed, claiming P20,000 each.
Meanwhile, League of Legends will make its Predator League debut with an equally competitive lineup. The winning team will pocket P100,000, while the runner-up earns P50,000. Those in third and fourth place will receive P15,000 each, and fifth and sixth place finishers will walk away with P5,000.
Beyond the cash prizes, Dota 2 and VALORANT champions will represent the Philippines at the Asia Pacific Predator League 2026 Grand Finals, set to take place in India early next year—where regional pride, prestige, and the ultimate Predator Shield await.
