Parts of Metro Manila, Calabarzon, and Bulacan will experience power outages from March 5 to 10 due to scheduled maintenance activities by Manila Electric Company (Meralco).
The maintenance work will involve line reconductoring, pole replacements, energization of facilities, and facility relocations across several areas.

MARCH 5-6
Valenzuela City, Metro Manila
Location: Phase 3 St., Bgy. Punturin
Outage Hours: 10 p.m., March 5 to 3 a.m., March 6
Affected Areas: Portions of Phase 3 St. (from Kabesang Porong St. to Lanvin and Charlie Sts.) and Sta. Lucia Village Phases 3, 4, and 6.
Batangas City, Batangas
Location: Pres. Jose P. Laurel Highway, Bgy. Alangilan
Outage Hours: 10 p.m., March 5 to 3 a.m., March 6
Affected Areas: Portions of Annalyn Drive, Tramo Road, and nearby subdivisions in Bgy. Alangilan and Bgy. Kumintang Ilaya.
MARCH 6
Batangas City and San Pascual, Batangas
Location: Bolbok Road, Bgy. Bolbok and various streets in San Pascual
Outage Hours: 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Affected Areas: Portions of Caltex Road, Bolbok Road, San Pascual-Laurel National Road, and several subdivisions and streets in Batangas City and San Pascual.
Binondo, San Nicolas, and Tondo, Manila
Location: Dasmarinas St.
Outage Hours: 12:01 a.m. to 3 a.m.
Affected Areas: C.M. Recto Ave., Asuncion St., Numancia St., and Muelle Dela Industria St. in Binondo, San Nicolas, and Tondo.
Nangka, Marikina
Location: J.P. Rizal St., Bgy. Nangka
Outage Hours: 12:30 a.m. to 5:30 a.m.
Affected Areas: Portion of J.P. Rizal St. from Kore Bldg. to Papa John’s Pizza.
Bagong Pag-Asa, Quezon City
Location: North Ave.
Outage Hours: 1 a.m. to 1:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. to 9 a.m.
Affected Areas: SM North EDSA, Philippine Medical Association, and nearby towers along North Ave.
Dasmariñas, Cavite
Location: Bgy. Salitran IV
Outage Hours: 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Affected Areas: Portions of Chaps St. and subdivisions like Molino Homes 1 and Kaunlaran II.

Affected Areas: Portions of Karangalan Drive and surrounding streets in Karangalan Village.
MARCH 9
Meycauayan and Marilao, Bulacan
Location: Pantoc Road, Bgy. Pantoc, Meycauayan
Outage Hours: 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Affected Areas: Portions of Pantoc Road, including Meycauayan Industrial Subd. Phases III & IV, and nearby manufacturing facilities.

Cabuyao, Laguna
Location: Manila South Road, Bgy. Dila
Outage Hours: 5 a.m. to 6 a.m., March 9 and 10
Affected Areas: Nestle Philippines Inc. and Asia Brewery Inc. along Manila South Road.
Meralco has advised affected customers to prepare for the scheduled outages and to expect brief periods of no electricity while maintenance work is underway. The company assured that these activities are necessary to ensure continuous and improved power service.
