Police nabs high-value drug suspect in Pasig buy-bust with P170,000 worth of shabu

A 64-year-old man listed as the No.5 high-value drug suspect in the region was arrested in a buy-bust operation in Pasig City early Tuesday morning, June 3.

The suspect, known by the alias “Logan” and a resident of Barangay Palatiw, was arrested around 1:20 a.m. along San Agustin Street following an extensive surveillance operation. 

The operation was carried out by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit in coordination with the Pasig City Anti-Drug Abuse Office.

Authorities reportedly seized 25 grams of approximately P170,000 worth of suspected shabu during the operation.

Pasig Police Chief Col. Hendrix B. Mangaldan confirmed that the suspect is now in police custody and will face charges for violating Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
