PNP heightens security for Undas 2024

In preparation for the upcoming commemoration of All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day, the Philippine National Police (PNP) is on heightened security alert and has deployed police personnel to ensure the safety of the public.

According to Fajardo, several police personnel have been deployed as early as Monday since people were expected to visit earlier to avoid the crowd.

Regional directors have the liberty of increasing the number of personnel deployed. Due to the ongoing response to Severe Tropical Storm Kristine and Super Typhoon Leon’s approach, Fajardo said a total of 21,000 personnel have been deployed for Undas.

Currently, PNP has not detected any threat related to the observance of Undas.
