PNB Holdings Corporation is strengthening its push toward sustainability with the launch of EcoStation, a new waste recycling initiative developed in partnership with Rezbin, a multi-awarded, tech-enabled waste management company.

The program is designed to make responsible waste disposal easier, measurable, and more engaging across PNB Holdings’ key properties, turning everyday recycling into a practical and rewarding habit.

The collaboration reflects PHC’s broader transformation agenda, where environmental stewardship plays a central role alongside growth and asset development. For PNB Holdings, sustainability is no longer an add-on but an operational priority embedded in how its properties are built and managed.

Chief Operating Officer Joselito R. Consunji underscored the company’s responsibility as a property developer and asset manager to create long-term value for both communities and the environment.

He noted that the partnership with Rezbin goes beyond regulatory compliance, aiming instead to encourage a culture of sustainability among employees, tenants, and partners through meaningful, everyday actions.

At the core of EcoStation is Rezbin’s technology-enabled recycling system, which uses a behavior-driven, rewards-based model to encourage proper waste segregation. Designed to address the country’s growing waste challenge, the platform simplifies recycling through an intuitive user experience that nudges people toward better habits rather than relying solely on enforcement or reminders.

EcoStation operates on a simple three-step process: scan, snap, and toss. Users scan a QR code, take a quick photo of their recyclable waste, and dispose of it in designated EcoStation bins. Each verified drop-off earns eco points, which can be redeemed for rewards through the Rezbin app.

On the management side, real-time dashboards allow administrators to track the volume and types of recyclables collected, ensuring transparency, measurable environmental impact, and more accountable waste management within PHC-managed properties.

Rezbin Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer Mari Martirez welcomed the partnership, describing it as a shared effort to make recycling more accessible and impactful. She said Rezbin was built on the idea that sustainability should be easy to practice and rewarding to maintain.

By bringing its behavior-driven system into PNB Holdings’ commercial properties, the company aims to empower entire communities to adopt sustainable habits that translate into real, data-backed environmental gains.

The EcoStation initiative forms part of PNB Holdings’ wider sustainability strategy, which includes strengthening waste management systems, reducing its overall environmental footprint, and designing future developments to meet higher standards of responsibility and resilience.

Through partnerships like Rezbin, PHC is positioning its properties not only as places to work and do business, but as active participants in building a more sustainable future.
