In an industry often defined by skylines and square footage, PNB Holdings Corporation (PHC) is proving that real estate can—and should—stand for more than property development. As part of the Lucio Tan Group of Companies, PHC is showing how corporate citizenship can be woven into the very foundation of its work.

At the center of this commitment is Project Solicitude, PHC’s flagship corporate social responsibility program. Designed to answer pressing social and environmental challenges, the campaign reflects the company’s vision of building communities that are not just modern and efficient, but inclusive, resilient, and sustainable. Guided by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, Project Solicitude focuses on four key pillars: environmental stewardship, accessibility, community health and well-being, and disaster resilience.

Since its launch, the initiative has rolled out six impactful programs. These include a disaster preparedness workshop for tenants and frontline staff, a blood donation drive, an accessibility awareness seminar, participation in a nationwide cleanup campaign, a holiday gift-giving activity for underserved families, and a week-long sustainability fair. Together, these efforts have engaged more than 1,000 employees and stakeholders, while extending meaningful support to over 300 families—with the help of seven partner organizations.

“Our goal with Project Solicitude is to ensure that our developments contribute positively to the communities around them,” said Joselito R. Consunji, Chief Operating Officer of PNB Holdings Corporation. “Real estate should not only serve commercial purposes, but also create environments that are inclusive, resilient, and responsive to real-world challenges.”

The impact of each initiative has been tangible—equipping communities with life-saving knowledge, raising awareness for inclusive design, strengthening disaster readiness, and spreading joy during the holiday season. What sets Project Solicitude apart is its empathy-driven approach, ensuring every effort has a direct and meaningful effect on the people it serves.

Looking to the future, PHC plans to expand the program with new projects on solid waste management across its properties, inclusive community engagement, and health and wellness initiatives. By doing so, the company is reinforcing its long-term belief that sustainable real estate goes hand-in-hand with social responsibility.
