The Philippines, through the Tourism Promotions Board (TPB), wrapped up a highly successful showing at the Asia Dive Expo (ADEX) 2025, generating a remarkable PHP 151,872,799.98 in sales leads. Held from April 4 to 6 at Singapore’s Suntec Convention and Exhibition Center, ADEX is Asia’s longest-running and largest dive expo, drawing over 49,900 trade and consumer attendees.

For the fourth consecutive year, the Philippines proudly held the title of Official Country Partner, reaffirming its standing as a premier diving destination. This year’s delegation showcased the underwater treasures of five top-notch dive spots: Batangas, Oriental Mindoro, Bohol, Cebu, and Negros Oriental. A major attraction was the Philippine booth’s immersive dive tunnel, which brought to life the breathtaking marine biodiversity—from vibrant coral reefs and protected sanctuaries to thrilling pelagic encounters.

“Our consistent participation in ADEX underlines the Philippines’ strong commitment to sustainable dive tourism and marine conservation,” said Ms. Marivic Sevilla, TPB’s Manager for International Promotions, speaking on behalf of Chief Operating Officer Maria Margarita Montemayor Nograles. “More than promoting our world-class dive destinations, we’re here to champion awareness, support, and conversations around protecting our marine ecosystems.”

The Philippine delegation included 24 co-exhibitors offering a variety of dive-related products and services—from accommodations and tour packages to liveaboards. Representing regions such as Southern Tagalog, MIMAROPA, Central and Western Visayas, the Municipality of Malay in Aklan, and DOT Region VII, the group highlighted the country’s rich and diverse dive offerings.

Adding depth to the delegation, scuba diving instructor and ocean sustainability advocate Vanessa Vergara shared her passion and expertise in a special presentation. Drawing from her experiences diving across the archipelago, she spotlighted the unique photo opportunities for both macro and micro marine life, and underscored why divers continue to fall in love with the Philippines.

Throughout the three-day event, the Philippine booth actively engaged attendees with consumer selling, interactive promotions, and activities featuring the Travel Philippines app. Relaunched in October 2024, the app is a go-to travel companion offering curated content, exclusive deals, and special dive-related promotions for all types of travelers.
