PDIC to e-bid Davao City prime commercial condos, other VisMin properties on February 25–26

The Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation will sell corporate and closed-bank assets, including prime commercial condominium units and a portfolio of real properties in the Visayas and Mindanao, through electronic public bidding on an “as-is, where-is” basis from February 25 to 26, 2026.

Submission of bids will open at 9:00 a.m. on February 25 and close at 1:00 p.m. on February 26, 2026, exclusively via the PDIC e-bidding portal at https://assetsforsale.pdic.gov.ph. Opening of bids will take place at 2:00 p.m. on February 26, 2026.

Among the featured properties are four commercial condominium units and four parking slots located at the Landco Corporate Centre in Davao City, a prime location for business and commercial development. The property portfolio also includes 45 agricultural lots, 19 residential lots, and four mixed residential and agricultural lots, with areas ranging from 82 square meters to 10 hectares.

Interested parties may view the complete list of properties, along with detailed descriptions, bidding requirements, procedures, and conditions, on the PDIC e-bidding portal.

Prospective buyers are required to complete a one-time registration at https://assetsforsale.pdic.gov.ph/Account/Register to participate in this and all future PDIC e-bidding activities. Participants are also strongly encouraged to conduct due diligence on the properties they intend to acquire to determine their actual condition, ownership, status, and other relevant circumstances. PDIC likewise reminds bidders to carefully review the Conditions of Bid posted on the portal.

For agricultural properties, winning bidders must submit a certification from the Provincial Agrarian Reform Officer of the Department of Agrarian Reform in the province where the property is located, along with an Affidavit of Aggregate Landholdings, within 15 days after the e-bidding. The PARO certification must confirm that the agricultural lot is not covered by the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program and that no Emancipation Patent or Certificate of Land Ownership Award has been issued. The affidavit must state that the buyer’s total landholdings, including properties acquired through the bidding, do not exceed the five-hectare limit set by law. Prescribed formats for the certification and affidavit may be downloaded free of charge from the Download Center of the e-bidding portal.

Participants bidding on behalf of another individual or an organization may also download the pro-forma Special Power of Attorney or Secretary’s Certificate, respectively, from the portal at no cost.

As the statutory receiver of closed banks, PDIC liquidates remaining assets to maximize recovery and help settle claims of closed-bank creditors, including depositors with uninsured deposits. Proceeds from the sale of closed bank-owned properties are credited to a fund managed by PDIC for the settlement of these claims. Meanwhile, revenues from the sale of corporate assets are added to the Deposit Insurance Fund, which serves as the funding source for valid deposit insurance claims.
