The Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation (PDIC) is opening its doors to investors and property seekers as it holds a nationwide electronic public bidding (e-bidding) for prime real estate assets from November 26 to 27, 2025.
In a statement Friday, the PDIC announced that the auction will feature an extensive lineup of corporate and closed-bank properties, including 19 upscale residential condominium units in Hudson Place Tower I and East Bay Residences in Sucat, Muntinlupa City. Also up for grabs is a 141-square-meter mixed-use lot in Surigao del Norte.
Beyond the Metro, PDIC is offering 28 residential, 21 agricultural, and three mixed-use residential-agricultural properties, with lot sizes ranging from 116 square meters to nearly 10 hectares. These are spread across Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon, Bulacan, Tarlac, La Union, Pangasinan, Isabela, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Albay, Romblon, Misamis Oriental, Surigao del Norte, and Cebu.
Prospective buyers can participate in the e-bidding through a one-time registration on PDIC’s official portal at assetsforsale.pdic.gov.ph. Once registered, bidders can review the listings and place their offers entirely online.
The PDIC strongly encourages participants to perform due diligence by inspecting properties and reviewing ownership details and other legal conditions. Interested parties are also advised to carefully read the Conditions of Bid available on the PDIC website.
As the statutory receiver of closed banks, PDIC sells these assets to recover funds and settle the obligations of banks that have ceased operations—ensuring that uninsured depositors and other creditors can be repaid. Proceeds from corporate asset sales, meanwhile, go directly to the Deposit Insurance Fund, which supports valid insurance claims of Filipino depositors.
With premium locations and a transparent e-bidding process, PDIC’s property sale offers both investors and end-users an opportunity to acquire real estate while contributing to financial stability and depositor protection in the country.
