PCSO provides ICT equipment, 300 hygiene kits to Tarlac


The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) continues its commitment to education and community welfare by donating 50 desktop computers and 30 printers to various schools in Anao, Tarlac. The turnover ceremony took place on January 28, 2025, benefiting students and teachers by improving access to technology.

The recipient schools include Bantog Elementary School, Casili Elementary School, Dagundon Elementary School, Dolores Ongsiako Central Elementary School, San Francisco Elementary School, San Jose Elementary School, Anao High School, and Anao Junior High School.

PCSO Directors Jennifer E. Liongson-Guevara and Janet de Leon-Mercado led the turnover event. They reaffirmed the agency’s dedication to supporting education and technological advancement in public schools.

Anao Mayor Gian Pierre O. De Dios expressed his gratitude to PCSO for the generous support, highlighting how the donation will provide students with essential learning tools. He also encouraged students to study hard to show appreciation for the assistance provided.

“This initiative will greatly benefit our schools, helping students and teachers adapt to modern learning methods. We urge our students to make the most of these resources, work hard in their studies, and use this opportunity to build a brighter future,” the mayor said.

PCSO also distributed 300 hygiene kits to single parents in Anao under its Gender and Development (GAD) program, recognizing their vital role in family well-being. This initiative promotes health and gender equality by ensuring access to essential hygiene supplies.

PCSO continues to support various educational and social initiatives nationwide, ensuring that more communities benefit from its programs.
