The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) strengthened its support for frontline responders as it turned over two Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) to the Philippine National Police (PNP) on November 25, 2025.
The donation, part of PCSO’s ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility efforts, aims to reinforce the country’s emergency response capability, particularly in high-risk situations where every second counts.
The turnover ceremony took place at the PCSO Conservatory Building, where Dr. Clarissa Ferrer, Department Manager of the Medical Services Department, officially handed the units to Police Colonel Nierme Capulso Jr., chief of the Regional Mobile Deployment Unit (RMDU) I.
The AEDs will be deployed to boost the PNP’s on-ground readiness during critical police operations, large public gatherings, and urgent medical incidents that require swift, potentially life-saving intervention.
By equipping law enforcement teams with essential medical tools, PCSO continues to expand its health-centered assistance programs, ensuring that vital equipment reaches those who safeguard the public and the communities they serve.
