SILANG, Cavite — The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO), through its Cavite Branch, reaffirmed its commitment to community welfare as it turned over a ₱470,000 financial grant to its partner agency, Casa de Bambini San Giuseppe, Inc., on November 17, 2025.
The check was formally handed over by Cavite Branch Manager Engr. Victor Amutan to Sr. Gina L. Nara, SCGR, RSW, agency head and local superior of Casa de Bambini San Giuseppe, Inc., during a simple turnover ceremony held at the PCSO Cavite Branch.
The assistance forms part of PCSO’s Institutional Partnership Program (IPP), a flagship initiative that provides support to accredited Social Welfare and Development Agencies (SWDAs) of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), as well as health-related institutions licensed or accredited by the Department of Health (DOH). Through the IPP, PCSO works closely with partner institutions to strengthen social services and respond to urgent community needs.
PCSO emphasized that the IPP reflects the agency’s sustained efforts to address pressing sectoral concerns through meaningful collaboration. The financial grant is expected to help enhance Casa de Bambini San Giuseppe’s programs for its beneficiaries, particularly initiatives focused on nutritional support, medical care, and other health-related interventions.
Casa de Bambini San Giuseppe, Inc. is known for its mission of caring for vulnerable and disadvantaged children. The organization is expected to channel the funds toward services that directly improve the well-being, protection, and overall development of children under its care.
Through partnerships such as this, PCSO continues to underscore its mandate of extending vital support to institutions at the forefront of social care—ensuring that more Filipinos receive the attention, protection, and opportunities they deserve.
