PCSO boosts Zamboanga Sibugay healthcare donating medical gear and mobility aids

The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) strengthened its commitment to accessible and inclusive healthcare with the turnover of vital medical equipment and mobility aids to the 2nd District of Zamboanga Sibugay. The ceremony took place on November 12, 2025, at the PCSO Conservatory Ground along Shaw Boulevard in Mandaluyong City.

Leading the handover was Atty. Lauro Patiag, PCSO Assistant General Manager for the Charity Sector, joined by Haley Nicole Garchitorena, Political Affairs Assistant II, who represented Congresswoman Marlesa Hofer-Hasin.

The donation includes a wide range of essential medical devices and mobility support tools aimed at improving community health services and strengthening grassroots medical response. Among the items turned over were:

• 50 Blood Pressure Apparatus
• 50 Glucometers
• 50 Nebulizers
• 50 Pulse Oximeters
• 50 Thermal Scanners
• 50 First Aid Kits
• 25 Weighing Scales
• 5 Oxygen Tanks
• 50 Wheelchairs
• 50 Walkers

The initiative is part of PCSO’s broader Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts, which focus on expanding healthcare access, enhancing local medical capabilities, and supporting underserved communities across the country. Through these programs, PCSO continues to uphold its mission of providing meaningful, life-improving assistance to Filipinos in need.
