The Presidential Communications Office (PCO) on Saturday dismissed a report alleging that a convoy linked to a president’s son was harassed by another motorcade in Bulacan.

PCO Secretary Dave Gomez said in a message to reporters that no such event involving any of the President’s sons had occurred.

The circulating account had claimed that a confrontation supposedly took place between two convoys, one of which was said to be associated with a presidential son.

It alleged that a passenger from a vehicle registered in Bulacan stepped out while armed, heightening tensions during the supposed encounter.

The same report also described a three-vehicle motorcade allegedly obstructing the path of the vehicle said to be carrying the presidential son.

It further claimed that several individuals disembarked from the convoy, which was reportedly traced to a municipality in Bulacan.

According to the narrative, the incident was said to have been triggered after the vehicle of the alleged presidential son overtook the convoy on the expressway.

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos have three sons, including Ilocos Norte 1st District Rep. Sandro Marcos.
