A number of areas in Metro Manila, Batangas, Bulacan, Cavite, and Rizal will have power and water nterruptions this week due to maintenance works.
According to the Manila Electric Company (Meralco), affected areas in Quezon City include some parts of Barangay Sangandaan from April 19 to 20 between 11:00 in the afternoon to 5:00 in the morning the following day.
Meralco said the interruptions are due to line reconductoring work and replacement of facilities along Marcel Drive and Reparo Road.
Some parts of Filinvest 2 Subdivision in Batasan Hills will also have power interruptions on April 21 between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. because of line reconductoring work as well along Pratt, Gandhi, Atlas and Grant streets. Meanwhile, some places in Bgy. Pinyahan will have power interruptions on April 22 to 23 between 11:00 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. and between 3:30 a.m. and 4:00 a.m. due to line maintenance work.
Likewise, some areas in Bgy. Holy Spirit and Pasong Tamo will have no power from April 22 to 23 between 11:30 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. because of line reconstruction and reconductoring work and replacement of electricity poles.
In Pasig City, some areas in Bgy. Kapitolyo will have power interruptions on April 22 between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. due to the replacement of a hazardous electricity pole and line reconstruction works along Fairlane St.
In Batangas, some places in Batangas City and parts of the villages of Kumintang Ilaya, Kumintang Ibaba, Alangilan, Soro Soro Karsada, Mahabang Parang, Concepcion, Bukal, Balete, Banaba Center, Banaba East, Banaba South and Balagtas will have power interruptions on April 20 between 12:01 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. because of the relocation of electricity facilities affected by the Balagtas Flyover construction.
In Bulacan, some parts of Bgy. Taal in Pulilan will have no electricity on April 23 between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. due to line conversion work and installation of electricity facilities along Caingin Road in Bgy. Taal.
In Cavite, several communities in Alfonso, General Emilio Aguinaldo, Gen. Trias City, Magallanes, Maragondon, Naic, Tanza, Ternate and Trece Martires City will have short power interruptions April 20 to 21 between 11:30 p.m. and 11:59 p.m. and also between 6:01 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. due to line construction works for the development of the Meralco Osorio substation.
In relation to this, some areas in Bgy. Pasong Kawayan 1 in Gen. Trias City; some parts of barangays Cabuco, De Ocampo and San Agustin in Trece Martires City; some locations in the villages of Bagong Kalsada, Bancaan, Bucana Malaki, Bucana Sasahan, Gomez-Zamora, Halang, Humbac, Ibayo Estacion, Ibayong Silangan, Kanluran, Labac, Latoria, Mabolo, Munting Mapino, Nazareno, Sabang, San Roque, Santulan, Sapa, Timalan Balsahan, Timalan Concepcion and Timalan Lontoc in Naic; and portions of Amaya 1, Amaya 2, Amaya 3, Amaya 4, Amaya 5, Amaya 6, Amaya 7, Bagtas, Biga, Bunga, Calibuyo, Capipisa, Daang Amaya 1, Daang Amaya 2, Halayhay, Lambingan, Mulawin, Paradahan 1, Paradahan 2, Punta 1, Punta 2, Sahud Ulan, Sanja Mayor, Santol, Tanauan, Timalan Lontoc and Tres Cruses in Tanza will have short power interruptions from April 21 to 25 between 11:30 p.m. an 11:59 p.m. and between 6:01 a.m. and 6:30 a.m.
In Antipolo, Rizal, some areas in Bgy. Inarawan will have power interruptions on April 21 between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. because of line reconductoring works.
Meanwhile, Manila Water announced that in Makati City, some parts of Bgy. Bel Air will have no water on April 21 and 22 between 10:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. due to line maintenance activities at Jupiter cornrr Planet St.
In Taguig City, some areas in barangays Central Signal and South Signal will have water interruptions also on April 21 and 22 between 10:00 p.m. and 4:00 a.m. because of zero pressure testing activities at Damayan Luz Viz.
Also, some parts of Bgy. Western Bicutan will have no water from April 23 to 24 between 10:00 p.m. and 4:00 a.m. also because of zero pressure testing activities near Veterans Habitat.
In Rizal, some parts of Bgy. Dolores, Taytay will have service interruptions on April 20 and 21 between 10:00 p.m. and 4:00 a.m. because of step testing works along Jupiter St. corner L.Wood Avenue to detect possible leaks.
Some areas in Bgy. San Juan and Bgy. Dolores will have water interruptions on April 20 to 21 between 10:00 p.m. and 4:00 a.m. because of zero pressure testing activities along National Rd.
In Cainta, some locations in Bgy. San Isidro will have water service interruptions from April 21 to 22 between 10:00 p.m. and 4:00 a.m. because of step testing works Along Brookside Hills Subdivision.
In Antipolo, some parts of Bgy. Mambugan will have no water on April 21 to 22 between 10:00 p.m. and 4:00 a.m. because of a replacement of a line meter along Sumulong Highway.
Some locations in Bgy. Dela Paz will also have water interruptions on April 22 to 23 between 10:00 p.m. and 6:90 a.m. because of a replacement of a line meter along Taktak Road.
Also, some portions of barangays Mambugan, Mayamot and Cupang will have service interruptions from April 23 to 24 between 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. due to line replacement activities along Marcos Highway.
In Rodriguez, Rizal, some areas in the villages of Manggahan, Geronimo, San Rafael and Balite will have water interruptions on April 21 and 22 between 10:00 p.m. and 4:00 a.m. due to the replacement of a line meter at Millex Road.
On the other hand, Maynilad said that some areas in barangays 313, 314, 329, 330 and 335 in Santa Cruz, Manila will have water interruptions from April 19 to 26 between 10:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. because of leak exploration activities.
In Tondo, several locations in barangays 124, 128, 129, 130, 131, 132, 133, 134, 135, 136, 137, 138, 139, 140, 141, 142, 143, 144, 145, 146, 177, 179, 180, 181 and 182 will have no water from April 19 to 26 between 10:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. because of leak exploration works.
Also, some portions of barangats 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 56, 57, 58, 59, 60, 61, 62, 63, 64, 65, 74, 75, 76, 78, 81, 147, 148, 149, 150, 151, 152, 153, 163, 168, 169, 170, 171 and 172 in Tondo will have service interruptions from April 20 to 26 between 12:00 a.m. and 3:00 a.m. also because of leak exploration activities.
In Caloocan City, some areas in the villages of 36, 39, 40, 187, 188, 189, 190, 191, 192, 193, 194, 195, 196, 197, 198, 199, 200, 201, 202, 203, 204, 205,206, 207, 208, 209, 210, 211, 212, 213, 214, 215, 216 217, 218, 219, 220 and 202-A will have water interruptions from April 20 to 26 between 12:00 a.m. and 3:00 a.m. because of leak exploration works.
In Valenzuela City, some places in the communities of Gen. T. De Leon, Karuhatan, Malinta, Marulas, Maysan and Parada will have water service interruptions on April 20 and April 23 between 12:01 a.m. and 4:00 a.m. due to network maintenance activities.
Finally, in Imus City, Cavite, several places in barangays Alapan I-C, Anabu I-A, Anabu I-B, Anabu I-C, Anabu I-D, Anabu I-E, Anabu I-F, Anabu II-A, Anabu II- B, Anabu II-C, Anabu II-D, Anabu II-E, Bayan Luma I, Bayan Luma II, Bayan Luma III, Bayan Luma IV, Bayan Luma V, Bayan Luma VI, Bayan Luma VII, Bayan Luma VIII, Bayan Luma IX, Bukandala III, Bukandala IV, Bukandala V, Carsadang Bago I, Carsadang Bago II, Malagasang 1-A, Malagasang I-B, Malagasang I-C, Malagasang I-D, Malagasang I-E, Malagasang I-F, Malagasang I-G, Medicion I-B, Poblacion III-B, Poblacion IV-B, Poblacion IV-D and Tanzang Luma VI will have no water on April 20 to 24 every day between 5:00 a.m. and 12:00 a.m. because of high water demand at the Patindig Araw pumping station.
