Malacañang on Thursday assured that authorities are committed to pursuing all suspects in the case of the missing cockfight enthusiasts.

Palace Press Officer Usec. Claire Castro made the statement following reports that businessman Charlie “Atong” Ang may be in Cambodia.

The case involves the disappearance of at least 34 sabungeros, with Ang suspected of orchestrating the incident.

Despite separate arrest warrants issued for kidnapping with homicide and serious illegal detention, Ang has not yet been apprehended.

Castro emphasized that the Palace continues to monitor the investigation closely, describing it as a high-priority case for the administration.

She said the government will ensure that prominent individuals linked to serious crimes are held accountable.

Authorities are coordinating with law enforcement agencies to locate Ang and bring him to justice, while the investigation into the missing sabungeros continues.
