The Philippine Air Force Flying School Alumni Association, Inc. (PAFFSAAI) has strongly condemned insensitive and disrespectful social media remarks following the tragic SF-260 aircraft accident at Fernando Air Base on October 23, 2026, which claimed the lives of four aviators.
In an official statement, the association emphasized that the loss of human lives should never be an occasion for ridicule, mockery, or reckless speculation, noting that the tragedy has left grieving families, friends, and the aviation community mourning the loss of their loved ones.
PAFFSAAI also urged the public to distinguish constructive criticism from disrespect and to refrain from premature judgments, unfounded accusations, and the spread of misinformation while the official investigation is ongoing.
The association further cautioned against fabricated narratives, AI-generated content, digitally manipulated materials, and misleading social media posts, encouraging the public to verify information through credible and official sources.
PAFFSAAI concluded by emphasizing that the fallen aviators deserve honor, their families deserve compassion, and the incident warrants a fair and thorough investigation.
