Authorities seized P68 million worth of suspected shabu and arrested two individuals during an anti-drug operation in Pasay City, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) reported on Saturday.
According to the PDEA, the suspects, identified by their aliases Aldrich, 28, and Rudy, 32, were apprehended in a buy-bust operation conducted at Seaside Boulevard, North Parking, SMBY, Barangay 76 at around 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
During the operation, law enforcement agents confiscated 10 kilograms of suspected shabu, along with cellular phones, a vehicle, buy-bust money, and identification cards.
The suspects are set to face charges for violating Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, before the Pasay City Prosecutor’s Office.
The PDEA reaffirmed its commitment to intensifying operations against illegal drugs and ensuring that those involved in the narcotics trade are brought to justice.
