MANILA – More than 45,700 homeseekers preregistered for the two-day 2nd National Housing Expo 2026, where over 80 private real estate developers offered about 50,000 ready-for-occupancy housing units, Pag-IBIG Fund said Tuesday.
Thousands also attended the event, organized by Pag-IBIG Fund and the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD).
Participating developers offered subdivision and condominium units under the Expanded Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino (4PH) Program, with special prices, promotional deals and exclusive buyer incentives.
President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. made a surprise visit during the opening, touring developers’ booths with DHSUD Secretary Jose Ramon Aliling.
Pag-IBIG Fund offered promotional interest rates of 3 percent for socialized housing, 4.5 percent for units priced at PHP4.9 million and below, and 5.75 percent for units priced above PHP4.9 million but below PHP10 million.
Foreclosed properties were also available, with discounts of up to 30 percent on winning bid prices.
Aliling thanked attendees and expressed hope that the expo helped them move closer to owning decent and affordable homes.
“Sa ngalan ng buong DHSUD, ako po’y lubos na nagpapasalamat sa lahat ng homeseekers na pumunta, nawa’y nakatulong po ang Housing Expo sa pagde-desisyon ninyo para makamit ang pangarap ninyong sariling tahanan na disente at abot-kayang (On behalf of the entire DHSUD, I sincerely thank all the homeseekers who attended. I hope the Housing Expo helped you make decisions toward achieving your dream of owning a decent and affordable home),” Aliling said.
He also thanked private developers, key shelter agencies and Pag-IBIG Fund for supporting the event and offering housing projects under the Expanded 4PH Program.
