The roar of engines and the pulse of passion took over Clark International Speedway as Nissan Philippines staged the first-ever Nissan Festival, a landmark celebration that drew more than 1,700 enthusiasts and marked the largest official gathering of Nissan car clubs and fans in the country to date.

Anchored on the theme “Driven by Passion, Powered by Legacy,” the festival transformed the historic track into a living showcase of Nissan’s performance DNA, blending motorsport, car culture, and creative expression in a single, high-energy spectacle.

The day opened with a stirring Car Club Parade and Heritage Lap, where more than 50 parade cars and 10 heritage vehicles rolled onto the circuit under the leadership of various Nissan car clubs and the Stance Pilipinas community. The moment unfolded as a moving tribute to the iconic nameplates that have defined Nissan across generations, connecting long-time loyalists with a new wave of enthusiasts.

Beyond the track, the festival expanded into a lifestyle experience. A standout attraction was Nissan’s collaboration with internationally acclaimed artist QUICCS, also known as Juanito Maiquez. Drawing inspiration from the Nissan Z NISMO, the installation featured a one-of-a-kind creative display highlighted by a life-sized TEQ63 figure and a custom diecast piece.

The exhibit blurred the lines between automotive design and contemporary art, inviting guests to explore how imagination and performance intersect within the Nissan universe.

Support from industry partners further enriched the festival atmosphere. Attendees explored interactive showcases and product displays from Motul Philippines, Overland Kings, Yokohama Tires, Brembo Brakes, PIAA, SONAX, Little Trees, and Shell Pilipinas, turning the grounds into a dynamic marketplace of automotive innovation and lifestyle essentials.

As the afternoon progressed, the spotlight shifted fully to high-performance driving. Ashley Sison electrified the crowd with precision driving and daring track maneuvers, while Nissan brand ambassador Matteo Guidicelli joined exhibition runs that underscored the brand’s motorsport credentials. Adding to the star power were Marlon Stockinger and F4 Motul racer and brand ambassador Inigo Anton, whose presence further elevated the festival’s racing pedigree.

For many fans, the most unforgettable moment came with the appearance of Hiroshi Tamura, revered worldwide as the “Father of the GT-R.” Tamura-san’s participation brought Nissan’s global motorsport legacy directly to the Filipino community, capped by an exclusive ride-along experience for three selected festival participants who shared the track with the legendary engineer himself.

The event also served as a glimpse into Nissan Philippines’ road ahead. During the program, company executives hinted at an active year with upcoming additions to the local vehicle lineup, signaling continued momentum for the brand in the Philippine market.

“Seeing our community celebrate Nissan’s legacy firsthand reflects the passion that drives our brand,” said Masao Tsutsumi, President of Nissan Philippines. “This festival marks the beginning of an active year for us as we continue to bring new vehicles and daring experiences to the Philippine market.”

As engines cooled and the sun set over Clark, the Nissan Festival closed not just as a one-day event, but as a defining moment for the brand’s local journey—reinforcing its bond with customers, strengthening its enthusiast community, and reaffirming its place at the forefront of automotive performance in the Philippines.
