It is a fantastic day for Marvel and superhero movie fans as Marvel Entertainment releases the final trailer of its upcoming film “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” on June 25, featuring more information and revelations about the plot.

Set to arrive in theaters next month on July 25, this movie becomes the fifth Fantastic Four live action movie after 10 years since Fantastic Four in 2015 and it is also the first-ever project for the Phase Six of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

According to Marvel’s official website, the set follows a “1960’s-inspired, retro-futuristic world” taking place in a different timeline and universe, following the concept of multiple universes or ‘multiverse’ introduced back in the first Doctor Strange film in 2016.

In this trailer, the Fantastic Four — composed of Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic (played by Pedro Pascal), Sue Storm/Invisible Woman (played by Vanessa Kirby), Johnny Storm/Human Torch (played by Joseph Quinn), and Ben Grimm/The Thing (played by Ebon Moss-Bachrach) — meets the first live action female Silver Surfer (played by Julia Garner) who appeared to warn the people the arrival of one of the biggest threats in the Marvel universe — Galactus the “Devourer of Worlds” (played by Ralph Ineson).

“I herald his beginning. I herald your end. I herald…Galactus,” says Silver Surfer, marking the first name-drop of the film’s main antagonist.

Some notable bits of the final trailer showcase more of the powers of the Fantastic Four, a face-off between Galactus and the four on his domain, a cute moment with Reed and Sue’s baby, and Ben being repeatedly teased by Johnny to say his catchphrase “It’s clobberin’ time!”

Aside from the trailer, Marvel Entertainment also unveiled a new poster of the family with the Silver Surfer and Galactus’ menacing silhouette behind the Baxter Building.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps final trailer has now garnered over 60 million views across all Marvel Studios and Marvel Entertainment’s social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, and TikTok.
