Netflix has revealed that Korean TV personality Yu Jae-seok will be joined by heartthrob Byeon Woo-seok and comedian Lee Kwang-soo in the upcoming reality show “Jae-seok’s B&B Rules!” The announcement was made on Netflix Philippines’ official X (formerly Twitter) account, highlighting the new additions to the cast.
“Jae-seok’s B&B Rules!” is a spin-off of “Kian’s Bizarre B&B,” which featured webtoon artist Kian84, BTS member Jin, and actress Ji Ye-eun managing a uniquely designed bed and breakfast on South Korea’s Ulleungdo Island. Netflix has yet to announce the premiere date for the new series.
This show is part of Netflix’s expanding lineup of Korean unscripted content, which includes cooking competitions like “Culinary Class Wars,” game shows such as “Agents of Mystery” and “The Devil’s Plan,” physical challenges like “Physical: 100,” and dating shows including “Single’s Inferno” and “Better Late Than Single.” “Kian’s Bizarre B&B,” which debuted in April, is also set for a second season.
Yu Jae-seok is a leading figure in Korean television, known for hosting popular programs like “Running Man,” “Hangout with Yoo,” and “You Quiz on the Block.” Lee Kwang-soo, also a former “Running Man” cast member, left the show in 2021 after 11 years. Byeon Woo-seok is recognized for his roles in K-dramas such as “Record of Youth,” “Strong Girl Nam-soon,” and “Lovely Runner,” and will star in Netflix’s upcoming live-action adaptation of the fantasy web novel “Solo Leveling.”
