Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) recorded its busiest month ever in December 2025, its private operator said.
New NAIA Infra Corp. reported that about 4.86 million travelers passed through the country’s main gateway during the month.
Domestic passengers made up nearly half of the total traffic, ranking among the airport’s largest monthly volumes.
International travel also reached a monthly high, significantly boosting overall passenger numbers.
The strong December performance capped a record year, with NAIA handling more than 52 million passengers in 2025.
The airport operator said operations remained stable despite the surge, citing upgrades and improved passenger processing systems.
It added that new facilities, biometric immigration gates, and closer coordination with government agencies helped manage peak demand.
