A person of interest has been identified in the case of the deceased doctor, and the investigation by the Naga City Police Station is ongoing, according to a police official on Tuesday.
“Ongoing investigation po ang Naga City Police Station with person of interest, as of this time,” Police Regional Office-5 (PRO-5) spokesperson, P/Lt.Col. Maria Luisa Calubaquib, said.
In a statement issued on Monday, Naga City Police chief, P/Col. Erwin Rebellon stated that the search for the person of interest is still ongoing.
Dr. Rajean Monnette Romualdez was found dead with a gunshot wound to her head in her car, parked in a village. She was a doctor at the Bicol Medical Center.
She was 36 years old, an obstetrician-gynecologist, and a resident of Metro Manila.
The police announced that the city government is offering P200,000 for any information that could help resolve the case.
