MPower, the retail electricity arm of Manila Electric Company (Meralco) led by Manuel V. Pangilinan, has renewed its strategic partnership with Okada Manila, one of the country’s premier integrated resorts. The agreement was formalized in a ceremonial signing held at Okada Manila, Parañaque City, reaffirming both companies’ shared commitment to operational excellence and sustainability.

Under the renewed deal, Okada Manila’s expansive 30-hectare property—featuring luxury suites, world-class entertainment venues, and gaming floors—will continue to benefit from MPower’s reliable and flexible energy solutions designed to support the resort’s complex power demands.

“Reliable and sustainable energy is vital to delivering the seamless, five-star experience our guests deserve. MPower has been a trusted partner in enabling us to achieve both operational efficiency and environmental responsibility. Partnering with them allows us to optimize energy use while driving long-term growth and innovation across our resort,” said Byron Yip, President and Chief Operating Officer of Okada Manila.

The collaboration, which began in 2020, has evolved to match Okada Manila’s growing energy requirements while aligning with its mission to remain a leading leisure destination in the Philippines.

MPower Head Redel M. Domingo commended the resort’s commitment to sustainability and competitiveness. “We applaud Okada Manila for embracing an open and competitive energy market, and for advancing its sustainability journey. MPower is proud to power progress in the hospitality industry, and this partnership demonstrates how collaboration can fuel both economic growth and environmental stewardship.”

Through this renewed partnership, MPower continues to champion customer choice by delivering cost-efficient supply and innovative energy solutions that empower businesses to transition toward more sustainable and efficient operations.
