Another group of Ateneo de Manila University men’s basketball players appeared before the PNP Criminal Investigation and Detection Group on Wednesday as the probe continued into the deaths of teammates Rene Baterbonia and Divine Adili.
Among those seen entering the CIDG headquarters shortly after 9:30 a.m. was Shawn Tuano.
Several current and former Ateneo players also went to the CIDG on Tuesday.
The players were accompanied by their lawyers.
They did not issue any statement to reporters.
Baterbonia and Adili died on June 8 during a reported training activity at a beach resort in Dipaculao, Aurora.
Police earlier said the two were supposedly swept away by strong currents.
The CIDG has been looking into possible homicide or hazing angles in the incident. Police said at least 22 players and seven coaching staff members joined the training activity.
