The prestigious annual event, themed Vision 2025, honors top fund managers across the country for their expertise in delivering the highest risk-adjusted returns from 2020 to 2024. This year’s awards introduced new categories, including global feeder funds, local money markets, and thematic funds, further elevating the competition among investment institutions.
Metrobank’s Trust Banking Group stood out in several categories, receiving recognition for its high-performing UITFs:
- Metro High Dividend Yield Unit Paying Fund – Equity Funds category
- Metro$ US Investment Grade Corporate Bond Feeder Fund – Global Fixed Income Feeder Fund category
- Metro$ Short Term Bond Fund – Intermediate-Term Bond Funds (Pure FVPL Valuation) category
“We are incredibly proud to see our UITF team receive this prestigious recognition. It reflects Metrobank’s steadfast commitment to delivering exceptional fund management services to our clients, ensuring their investments are in capable hands,” said Angelica Reyes, Head of Metrobank’s Trust Banking Group.
Cristina Gabaldon, Metrobank’s Head for Investment Management, echoed this sentiment, stating, “We are deeply grateful to CFA Philippines for this honor. This recognition reaffirms our dedication to excellence in portfolio management. Moving forward, we remain committed to refining our investment strategies and enhancing our clients’ financial growth.”
