Metro Pacific Health Corporation (MPH) has announced its latest milestone with the completion of its investment in Tanza Specialists Medical Center (TSMC), expanding its nationwide network to 29 hospitals.

Under the leadership of Chairman Manuel V. Pangilinan, MPH continues its mission to make world-class healthcare more accessible to Filipinos. From its first acquisition of Makati Medical Center 17 years ago, the company has grown into the country’s largest private hospital operator.

MPH President Augie Palisoc Jr. expressed gratitude for the growing partnerships across the nation. “We are deeply thankful for the trust of hospital owners and doctors who have chosen to partner with us,” said Palisoc. “This investment in Tanza marks our 18th provincial hospital and our third in Cavite. With every addition, more partners are coming forward after seeing how we help hospitals expand and improve their services.”

Strategically located along Daang Amaya in Tanza, Cavite—near Antero Soriano Highway and the fast-developing areas of General Trias and Rosario—TSMC is poised to serve as a key healthcare hub for the growing Cavite population.

As part of its integration, MPH will implement a comprehensive roadmap to maximize TSMC’s potential. Drawing from best practices across its national network of hospitals, outpatient centers, and medical schools, MPH plans to enhance operations, raise clinical standards, and deliver better patient experiences to ensure Caviteños receive top-tier care.

“Becoming part of Metro Pacific Health opens exciting opportunities for our hospital,” said Dr. Ronald de Roxas, former president and founding member of TSMC. “We are confident this partnership will allow us to expand facilities, introduce advanced technologies, and elevate the quality of care for our patients.”

With the addition of TSMC, Metro Pacific Health now operates 11 hospitals in the National Capital Region, 10 in Luzon, 2 in the Visayas, and 6 in Mindanao—including renowned institutions such as Makati Medical Center, Asian Hospital and Medical Center, Cardinal Santos Medical Center, Davao Doctors Hospital, and Riverside Medical Center in Bacolod.

Altogether, the 29 hospitals under MPH have a combined capacity of 4,700 beds, supported by 12,500 doctors and 24,000 healthcare professionals, serving approximately 5.2 million patients annually.
