Top executives of the Manila Electric Company (Meralco), led by business titan Manuel V. Pangilinan, are stepping up their efforts better to serve the evolving needs of millions of Filipino consumers.

In a recent media roundtable, Meralco leaders emphasized their renewed focus on customer-centric innovation—highlighting bold digital initiatives and enhanced service strategies aimed at delivering reliable, 24/7 power to over 8 million customers nationwide.

Charina P. Padua, First Vice President and Head of Customer Retail Services; Ferdinand O. Geluz, Senior Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer; and Joe R. Zaldarriaga, Vice President and Head of Corporate Communications, laid out Meralco’s game plan: harness technology to make service faster, smarter, and more responsive to real-time demands.

“Powering homes and businesses is just the beginning. We’re reimagining the entire customer journey—making it more convenient, transparent, and empowering for the people we serve,” said Padua.
