McLaren wins first F1 Constructors’ Championship in 26 years

McLaren secured its first Formula 1 Constructors’ Championship in 26 years on Sunday, with Lando Norris clinching the title after winning the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, the final race of the 2024 season.

Norris took the victory in the 58-lap race at Abu Dhabi’s 5.281-kilometer Yas Marina Circuit, finishing in 1 hour, 26 minutes, and 33.291 seconds.

Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz finished second, 5.832 seconds behind, while his teammate Charles Leclerc took third, trailing by 31.928 seconds.
