The McDonald’s Philippines team received multiple honors at the Marketing Excellence Awards.

McDonald’s Philippines isn’t just serving burgers and fries — it’s serving up golds, silvers, and the highest industry honors. The fast-food giant swept two of the country’s biggest advertising and marketing award shows, clinching coveted titles like Marketer of the Year, Advertiser of the Year, and Company of the Year, along with a treasure chest of campaign trophies.

The double victory at the Marketing Excellence Awards–Philippines and the Asia Pacific Tambuli Awards solidified McDonald’s reputation as the country’s undisputed quick-service restaurant marketing powerhouse. Its winning streak was powered by strong collaboration with agency partners Leo Manila, OMD Philippines, Eggshell Worldwide, Silverpush, and Wagawin.

At the Marketing Excellence Awards, McDonald’s was hailed Marketer of the Year by Marketing Interactive. The brand also bagged 2 Gold, 6 Silver, and 2 Bronze medals across categories, with standout wins including:

  • M Everywhere (Gold – Experiential Marketing; Silver – Social Media Marketing)
  • ReClassified (Gold – CSR/Cause Marketing)
  • Atin ‘To Chicken McDo with SB19 (Silver – AI-Powered Storytelling)
  • Ride the Arches (Silver – Integrated Marketing, Silver – Specific Audience)
  • #ForeverDate (Silver – TV/Video Advertising)
  • Conversational Campaign (Silver – Omnichannel, Bronze – Data-Driven Marketing)
  • Holiday Treats (Bronze – AI-Powered Storytelling)

Meanwhile, McDonald’s reigned supreme at the Asia Pacific Tambuli Awards, taking home the titles Advertiser of the Year and Company of the Year. Assistant Vice President for Corporate Relations and Impact, Adi Hernandez, was also named Corporate Communications Officer of the Year.

The brand’s sustainability initiative ReClassified stole the spotlight, transforming retired restaurant furniture into school chairs and tables. The campaign swept multiple awards, including the Grand Prix for Leaders for Corporate Purpose: Care for the Environment, plus Gold and Silver medals in education, advocacy, and human-centric solutions.

McDonald’s also earned recognition for Easy Maging Best Me, a program supporting employee growth and well-being, which won Bronze in the Champions for Humanity category.

“These awards are a huge honor, but more than the recognition, our goal is to create feel-good moments for customers and make a positive impact in the communities we serve,” said Hernandez. “It’s also proof of what we can achieve when our team and partner agencies work as one.”

With industry accolades piling up, McDonald’s Philippines shows no signs of slowing down — only raising the bar higher for campaigns that blend creativity, purpose, and the golden touch of the arches.
