Makati City Mayor-elect and outgoing Senator Nancy Binay expressed her openness to engage in dialogue with Taguig City Mayor Lani Cayetano to help resolve the long-standing territorial dispute between their cities over the EMBO barangays.
Binay said she is ready to sit down and talk to settle the conflict and ensure that residents receive the services they deserve.
She added that this could mark a fresh start and renewed friendship between Makati and Taguig, noting that both are among the wealthiest cities in Metro Manila.
Makati now awaits a positive response from Mayor Cayetano.
