Maya continues to make waves on the regional stage, taking home Gold and Silver honors at the PR Awards Asia-Pacific 2026 for campaigns that successfully blended innovation, creativity, and real-world impact.
The Philippines’ leading digital financial services platform was recognized for two standout campaigns at this year’s awards, organized by Campaign Asia. Maya won Gold in the Best Brand Collaboration category and Silver in the Consumer Launch category, while its Welcome to Maya Black campaign also earned a shortlist spot in the PR Event category.
Maya secured the Gold award in the newly introduced Best Brand Collaboration category under the Effectiveness track for its 2025 campaign, Save a Housemate. Save with Maya.
Capitalizing on the massive popularity of Pinoy Big Brother, the country’s longest-running reality television franchise, Maya transformed the fan voting experience by introducing an innovative “Save-to-Vote” feature. Instead of the traditional SMS-based voting system, fans were encouraged to deposit money into their Maya accounts before casting their votes for their favorite housemates.

The seamless in-app experience not only made voting more convenient but also promoted better financial habits among users. By integrating the feature into weekly on-air segments and leveraging fan-generated content across digital platforms, Maya became an integral part of the Pinoy Big Brother viewing experience.
The campaign successfully combined entertainment and financial empowerment, driving strong engagement while making saving money a natural part of fan participation.
Meanwhile, Maya earned Silver in the Consumer Launch category for its highly successful Welcome to Maya Black campaign, which introduced the Maya Black Credit Card—a Visa Platinum travel and lifestyle credit card designed for aspirational everyday spending.
The card is powered by Maya’s AI-driven underwriting framework and offers a fully digital application process, allowing more Filipinos—including those traditionally underserved by conventional credit models—to access premium credit products from day one.
The campaign made a bold statement through its striking black-and-white launch film and synchronized “Blackout” takeover across multiple platforms, redefining what premium credit can look and feel like for a new generation of consumers. Its creative execution also earned a shortlist nomination in the PR Event category.
“These awards recognize the kind of work we believe in—building products and campaigns that address real customer needs in ways people genuinely connect with,” said Maya Group Chief Marketing Officer Pepe Torres. “For us, creativity only matters if it creates real impact, and that’s the standard we continue to hold ourselves to.”
The latest wins mark Maya’s fourth consecutive year of recognition at the PR Awards Asia-Pacific. The company previously earned accolades for its PayMaya-to-Maya rebrand campaign in 2022, My Money, My Bank, My Way in 2023, and Get Banked with Maya in 2024—underscoring its consistent ability to deliver award-winning campaigns that resonate with consumers while advancing financial inclusion.
Organized annually by Campaign Asia, the PR Awards Asia-Pacific celebrates the region’s most impactful public relations and communications initiatives, recognizing excellence in storytelling, brand building, campaign effectiveness, and industry innovation.
With another pair of prestigious awards under its belt, Maya continues to prove that meaningful innovation—when paired with compelling storytelling—can create lasting impact both for consumers and the industry.
